My mother was amazing! I have had some time to reflect and will always cherish the many things she passed on to me.
She taught me to cook and allowed me to learn at her side even though I’m sure it was hard having a child under foot. I learned to bake bread, make cookies of all kinds, dip chocolates, can veggies and fruits from the garden, make jams and jellies and so much more.
She taught me to love my Savior, Jesus Christ and to study His words, that when they are written on our hearts they will never leave us. My testimony of God’s Plan was taught to me line upon line in family scripture study, Family Home Evenings, through prayer and by the testimony my mother lived.
She was a wonderful example of Christ-like service. She loves everyone she met and served many. She looked for the one who was lonely and sat with them. She sought out those who were mourning or sad and comforted them. She saw others through God’s eyes, loved easily and forgave quickly. I hope to follow her example.
She wasn’t perfect, she herself had many sad and lonely times. She never wanted to inconvenience anyone, so at times she suffered in silence. But she always gained hope and found joy by forgetting herself and loving others. I think that’s what got her through the hard times.
She sang like an angel and had a clear soprano voice. She taught me and my siblings to love music and to share it! She had many songs written on her heart.
There is so much more I could say, but in fine she was a good person, a great friend, a fantastic wife and a loving mother, we will miss her everyday ❤️

Our lives - and the lives of each of our children - have been blessed by our many associations with Ron and Pat and your children. We moved to Castle Dale just a few years ahead of you and have enjoyed every minute interacting with you: spiritual times rubbing shoulders together in church callings and sharing testimonies, musical times including Messiah Choirs and April's piano lessons, Eric and Mathew sharing sleepovers, Eric and Mara spending so many fun happy times with Joshua and Kristin back in Iowa, Ryan and Heather at the Junior Prom Promenade.

Pat was and is a Celestial, Elect Lady - kind to everyone, loving, thoughtful, fun, ever-faithful. She will be missed! Ron has given Celestial service in caring for her that has been an example to everyone in our community and will strengthen all of us forever. Ron has provided healing hands and a shepherd's heart to our family many times. Clear back to mutually shared days at the LTM with Margaret, Ron has been ever-faithful. We are so grateful for the knowledge of where Pat is and that we can all enjoy a wonderful reunion in the future.

We love you! We pray for you! We hope we can help in the lonely days ahead!
With our heartfelt sympathy,
Delynn and Margaret Fielding, Michael and Tammy, Mathew and Liz, Joshua and Kristin, Heather and Robert

Pat Cope was a classmate of mine in Spanish Fork growing up. She was always a great friend to everyone and is remembered by the class of 1971 as one of our best. A smart, good, kind, and caring person, who reached out to those in need. I wish I could attend the service and pay my respects , but I’m in SoCal. We have a class Facebook site and every comment about Pat has mentioned her sweetness and goodness. We are sorry for your loss and pray you’l Be comforted. We all loved Pat!

Was able to find Pat’s grave and pay my respects last Friday. I’d never been to Castle Dale before, but came over the mountain after visiting my brother in Fairview. Because Jesus Christ lives, Pat yet lives!

Aunt Pat was the best! She was so beautiful from the inside out. You always felt completely loved when you were with her. She had the most genuine smile and the best laugh. I loved it every time she would come visit. She had a way of bringing love and happiness with her everywhere she went. Uncle Ron and all my sweet cousins, you are in my prayers. You are one sweet family that will carry her legacy.

Our dear, Aunt-my-Pat. We love her to our cores. She was the most vibrant and loving hostess every time we visited. I will forever remember fresh garden vegetables, cherries from her trees, and perfect summer weekends with your family!
We love you dearly!
