Boyd was one of a kind, I met him in his later years. He had a infectious smile, stubborn streak, and soft voice. I used to love to hear him talk about his farming days in Clarks Valley. He loved his horses and his dog "Badgey". He loved to talk about his brother Max he would tell me stories of how close they were growing up. Boyd was a gentle soul with a mischeivous smile and eyes that would brighten your day. I'm glad that I made a friend in him..

Met Boyd while working at Amerigas and knew he was my Dad's cousin. I liked him from the start. While working at Nielson Const in Huntington, I would run into him occasionally at the Post Office. A very nice man.
