Grandma Merrill was a good friend and a great neighbor. I will never forget her, she was a very good lady. She loves playing sorry and dominoes and rumicube. I want to thank her for taking us to the skate park. I wish she was never even sick. I want to thank her for all she has done. I will miss her a lot. Love Isaiah

I am so sad to hear of Alene's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of her. She was like a second mother to me through all my teen and young adult years. She always gave good advice, even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear. Alene always had a positive, loving attitude, and seemed to always smile. I am sorry to all the Hansen's for their loss. She will be missed.

Alene was in our DUP Camp and we met in her home a few times. She added so much life and fun to this group of ladies, she was so easy to get to know and cheered us with her stories. She gave a lesson after she knew she was sick again, and I am so glad she could. I am so sorry for your loss. Love Kristie Wernli
